Email Signature for Architects
Architects communicate with clients, contractors, planners and engineers, audiences that read precision as competence. An architect's signature should be what your drawings are: exact, spare, beautifully set.
What a architect's signature should include
- Your protected title and registration (e.g. ARB in the UK), "Architect ARB 099etc" where required.
- Practice name and your role (Associate, Director).
- RIBA chartered status if the practice holds it.
- One link, the practice portfolio. Project-specific links live in the email body.
What to leave out
- Renders in the signature; they bloat contractor threads that already carry drawings.
- More than one typeface's worth of styling, hierarchy through size and weight only.
