Email Signature for Startup Founders

Founders email investors, candidates, customers and press, often in the same hour. A founder's signature should be short enough to read in one glance and confident enough to need no decoration.

What a startup founder's signature should include

  • Name, "Co-founder & CEO", company. That's the core.
  • One rotating link with intent: the deck request page during a raise, the careers page during a hiring push, the product during launch.
  • LinkedIn, diligence starts there.
  • A calendar link only if you actually keep it open; a dead booking link signals chaos.

What to leave out

  • "Stealth" mystique in the signature, it reads as noise to everyone who isn't an investor.
  • Press logos and "as seen in", the deck's job, not the signature's.
